Supplies needed:

  • Separable plastic or metal zipper (optional) for non-standard sizes, see the tutorial on how to shorten a zipper

  • Button(s) + cord for button loop (optional)

  • Tie: ribbon, cord, shoelace, braid... (optional)

  • Toggle(s) (optional)

Requirements are identical for the outer fabric and the lining. The amounts indicated are for a single fabric. For example, for a vest without a hood in size 1 month, you will need 30 cm of outer fabric and 30 cm of lining.

If the material is very thick, it is better to cut the size up to maintain some ease.
