Highland Skirt - Maison Fauve

Maxi skirt featuring three ruffles and waistband over a pencil skirt closed at the back by an invisible zipper. The skirt ruffles are partially cut on the bias which gives this flowy dancing skirt a lovely drape avoiding the commonly feared puffy effect of ruffles on skirts. A shortened version with 2 ruffles is also possible, requiring less fabric.

• Sizes: 34-52 (French sizes)
• Skill level: Intermediate
• Recommended fabric: A light to medium weight fabric (80 to 200 g/m2). Viscose, light chambray, fine cotton sateen, crepe, very fine wool, silk. MANDATORY: the fabric must be at least 140 wide.
