The Scout was inspired by 1920's women's scouting uniforms. Make as a neat shirt or dress with optional tie. The dress has in-seam pockets.

PATTERN IN ENGLISH

• Recommended fabric: Linen, lightweight denim, cotton chambray, poplin, linen/cotton blends. If you choose something with less drape the top will have a more sculptural look.

An oversized coat or jacket with a rolled collar and turn back cuffs. The coat has inseam pockets and jacket has patch pockets. Choose to make either lined or unlined

Sidney is a boxy sweatshirt with a loose crew neck and finger skimming sleeves.

The Mary White is a loose fitting dress or top with front and back pleats, side in-seam pockets (dress only), breast pocket and a sailor collar. Perfect attire for any board walk.

The Florence is a sweet swingy top and dress with a button back detail and soft high low gathers.

The Eve Trouser is cropped, with a slightly tapered leg and optional turn ups. It's an easy garment to make, fitting neatly at the waist and over the hips with a simple side zip and two back pockets. Choose to make pleats or darts into the waist seam.

• Recommended fabric: ideally suited to a mid-heavyweight cotton canvas, as this keeps the structured shape. Other options are: corduroy, light-medium weight woollens and 7 - 12oz denim. You can use lighter weight cloths like linen and potentially a Tencel/linen but this will give you a softer silhouette.

Inspired by working women, with a dash of the Twenties. The Factory Dress slips over the head, features pockets and ready-rolled up sleeves. The Factory dress is 'easy fit' so use the bust measurement only for sizing. You also have the option of making it into a top with a small slit at the front.
