We hope that you have a great experience while browsing our website. Our website is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whenever you need to place your order. We process and ship all orders during our office hours which are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Please read attentively the following Terms & Conditions as they apply to all orders.

When ordering any product from Tissu & Co, the customer acknowledges having read the following general conditions of sale and he / she has fully accepted them at the time of placing the order. Tissu & Co reserves the right of modifying these conditions of sale at any time – but please note that then applicable Terms & Conditions accepted by the Customer are those at the time of order being placed.

2 – PRODUCTS

Tissu & Co offers fabrics, sewing patterns, haberdashery, a large-format digital printing service and other creative products via its online shop, www.tissuandco.ch, and its small showroom in Rolle (VD).

Specific provisions for certain products:

FABRIC: Fabric is measured metrically and is sold by multiples of 10cm in length. Tissu & Co tries to describe as best possible each product, and always stating the fabric width. As a general rule, quilting cotton is 110cm wide, while fashion fabric is 140-150cm wide. The minimum sales unit is 30 cm. 

TRIMMINGS: Ribbons, galons, bias tapes and other decoration tapes are also  measured metrically and they are sold in multiples of 50cm. The minimum sales unit is 1 meter.

Specific provisions for certain products:

FABRIC

Fabric is measured metrically and it sold by multiples of 10cm in length. We try to describe as best possible each product we sell, and we always mention the width of the fabric. As a general rule, quilting cotton is 110cm wide, while fashion fabric is 140-150cm wide. 

Please note there is a minimum order quantity which is 30cm (or 3 units).

We also sell pre cut fabric (such as fat quarters, fabric remnants, etc) which is sold by the piece.

TRIMMINGS

Trimmings, such as ribbons, bias tape, pipping etc are also sold by multiples of 50cm in length, with a minimum purchase of 1 meter.

The price listed is for 50cm, as well as per meter.

3 – PLACING AN ORDER

To place an order on the online shop, the customer must follow a series of steps before being able to validate their order. During this procedure, customers can check the details of their order and make any changes they wish before confirming it.

Customers have the option of creating a "Customer Account", which gives them access to a number of features such as a creating "Wish List", saving a shopping basket for later and order tracking.

Customers may also place an order without creating an Account if they do not wish to do so (also known as an "Instant Order"). 

Once the order has been validated by the customer, a confirmation e-mail summarising the order (products, price, product availability, quantity, etc.) will be sent to the e-mail address indicated by the customer. The customer will also receive a series of e-mails informing them of the progress of their order until it is shipped to the delivery address indicated by the customer.

IMPORTANT - As a client places an order, they confirm that: 

  • The correct address of the recipient is indicated. In the event of an error in the details of the recipient, Tissu & Co cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product and the costs associated with a new shipment remain the responsibility of the buyer.
  • The customer is 18 years of age or older. For minors, the agreement of the legal representative is required. Persons under guardianship require the agreement of their legal guardian.
  • Payment is made before delivery of the products ordered. No order will be confirmed until Tissu & Co has received confirmation of payment of the total amount of the order.

Please note that the minimum order is 10Fr (VAT excluded).

4 – PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All products presented on the www.tissuandco.ch website are subject to availability at the time of ordering. Tissu & Co reserves the right to modify at any time the nature of the items that can be purchased online. In the event that the order cannot be fulfilled due to the unavailability of the product ordered, Tissu & Co will inform the customer by e-mail as soon as possible. The customer will then have the possibility of cancelling or modifying his order under the conditions envisaged in article 8.

5 – PRICES

The price of items is displayed in Swiss francs (CHF) and includes all taxes.

The price displayed does not include delivery costs, which are indicated and invoiced in addition when the order is confirmed.

Prices are subject to change without notice and at any time, particularly in the case of special offers.

Tissu & Co endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the prices indicated on the site, but cannot guarantee the absolute absence of errors. In the event of an error in the price of an item, Tissu & Co will give the customer the option of confirming the purchase of the product at the correct price or cancelling the order.

6 – PAYMENT METHODS AND SECURITY OF ONLINE PAYMENTS

Customers can choose from several payment methods:

  • Postfinance, credit cards and TWINT: Customers can pay for their purchases online using the PostFinance Card, PostFinance e-finance, MasterCard and Visa credit cards or via TWINT.  Your payment is made directly to our service provider's secure server on our behalf. This ensures that no banking information about you passes through our shop.

  • Paypal: We accept payment by Paypal which accepts all major debit and credit cards. You do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase. We do not hold any payment or card data on our systems. For more information, please visit: www.paypal.com

  • Bank transfer online or at the counter: Customers can choose to pay for their order by bank pre-payment. When choosing this method of payment, the customer must pay within 5 working days of placing the order on the store's account, making sure to mention the order number in the "communication" space. Any order form signed electronically by clicking "I confirm my order" constitutes irrevocable acceptance and implies payment in full. After 5 working days, if Tissu & Co has not received full payment, the order will be automatically cancelled.

IMPORTANT: Tissu & Co will only validate orders after having received the confirmation of the successful transfer of the totality of the order amount.

Tissu & Co does not deliver against invoice and does not accept cheques.

Tissu & Co reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer, in particular in the event of insolvency of said customer or in the event of non-payment of the order concerned or of a previous delivery or of a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.

7 – DELIVERY AND SHIPPING COSTS

Tissu & Co endeavours to prepare and dispatch all orders within 48 working hours of order confirmation and receipt of payment. This delay is subject to change during public holidays or vacation periods.

Orders are sent by Swiss Post B Mail to the delivery address indicated by the customer. The delivery time in Switzerland for B Mail is 2 to 3 working days.

Tissu & Co declines all responsibility in the event of excessive delivery times due to postal services, loss of ordered products or strikes. In case of partial deliveries, shipping costs will be invoiced only once.

Actual shipping costs are calculated automatically when the customer enters their shipping address in the order process. 

If Tissu & Co is able to ship an order at a lower rate, the customer will receive a discount code in reimbursement of the rate paid.

Store Pick Up: The customer can pick up an order placed online free of charge at the Tissu & Co showroom in Rolle (Av de la Gare 18, 1180 Rolle). Tissu & Co will inform the customer by email when the order is ready for collection. The customer is expected to collect the order within 15 days or to contact Tissu & Co if this is not possible.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY:

Unfortunately, due to the significant increase in shipping costs outside Switzerland, as well as increased customs requirements, Tissu & Co is unable to offer international shipping services except on request.

8 – EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS

The customer has a period of 7 working days from the date of delivery to return, at his/her expense, the items ordered. The customer must first contact Tissu & Co by e-mail to receive instructions on the procedure to follow for a return. Tissu & Co reserves the right to refuse a return if the buyer has not fulfilled this last condition.

For a return to be valid, the goods must be in their original condition and packaging, with all accompanying documents and a copy of the invoice or delivery note.

Special instructions for certain items:

  • Fabrics: Fabrics that have already been cut and/or washed or exposed to smoke cannot be returned.
  • Sewing patterns and haberdashery: Patterns, sewing kits and haberdashery can only be returned if they are new, undamaged (unopened) and accompanied by all accessories, instructions and documentation.
  • Large format printing service: No returns or refunds are possible for the printing service.

Any item returned incomplete, damaged, used or soiled by the customer will not be taken back.

No compensation is possible for errors in image, price or text

Tissu & Co undertakes to replace the product within 15 days or less (depending on available stocks), after receipt of the returned items, if these comply with the rule defined above. In the event that the item is no longer available at the time of return, Tissu & Co will issue a credit note for the amount of the item, excluding delivery charges.

Reimbursement will be made within a maximum of 15 working days, depending on the method of payment initially used by the customer at the time of ordering.

9 – QUALITY GUARANTEE

Tissu & Co prepares and dispatches orders with care and as quickly as possible. If, despite our best efforts, the customer notices errors or defects upon receipt of his/her order, the customer has 5 working days to contact Tissu & Co in writing, describing the non-conformity of the products received. Tissu & Co will refund or replace the product(s),

Tissu & Co makes every effort to present the products sold with the best possible photos and descriptions. However, colour differences may appear between the photos of the items shown on the site and the products delivered, which cannot give rise to complaints.

10 – SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION

Tissu & Co undertakes to treat all personal data provided by the customer as confidential. This information will only be used to process purchase orders, facilitate navigation and the purchase of items on www.tissuandco.ch as well as to provide information, by email, on new products, special offers and various news related to the site.

Tissu & Co does not sell, market or rent to third parties any data transmitted by the Customer.

11 - LIABILITY

Although Tissu & Co makes every effort to produce and regularly update this site, errors may occur in the information and/or documents presented. However, Tissu & Co cannot guarantee the accuracy, precision or completeness of the information made available on this site.

Tissu & Co reserves the right to correct or modify the content of this site at any time and without notice. Tissu & Co accepts no responsibility for the use or content of items ordered.
